OBITUARY:

MADISON - A 92-year-old Madison resident, (Uncle) Ed Price died Sunday in Boone Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Price was a member of the K of P Lodge here for 69 years, a member of the Boone IOOF Lodge for 70 years, and a member of the Madison Methodist Church.

Survivors: sons, Harry and Ray, of Madison; daughters, Mrs. Faye Newman, and Mrs. Ruth Zeune of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Mrs. Rose Penland, Huntington; sisters. Mrs. Ella Ackers of Ottawa and Mrs. Mae Hill of Charleston.

The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Madison Methodist Church by the Rev. Virgil E Conant and Rev. Emil Parker. Burial will be in Boone Memorial Park her, with graveside rites conducted by IOOF Lodge.

Friends may call at the Hunter and Hunter Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. today.

WHITESVILLE - William Doddridge Stone, 86, a resident of Sundial, died last night in an Oak Hill nursing home after an extended illness.

He was a retired carpenter foreman at Armco Steel Corp at Montcoal and was member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics at St. Albans. He belonged to the First Baptist Church of Whitesville.

Surviving: wife, Almeda;  son, Earl of St. Albans;  stepson, Marvin Dickens of Rock Creek;  daughters, Mrs. Essie Miller Parkersburg, Mrs. Daisey Steele of Princeton, Mrs. Mamie Maxie of Charleston;  stepdaughter, Mrs. Orpha Lindsay of Flint;  brother, Mervin of St. Albans;  sister, Mrs. Lilly Tudor of Tango;  nine grandchildren and   23 great-grandchildren.

The body is a Valley Funeral Home here.
