Bobby Reed Jury, 72, New Haven, formerly of Bardstown, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Flaget Memorial Hospital, Bardstown.   He was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Cox's Creek.   He was retired from General Electric, Louisville, after 20 years of service, and Philip Morris Inc., Louisville, after 20 years of service.   He was a member of Bardstown United Methodist Church, Bardstown, and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict earning the Silver Star.   He was preceded in death by one grandson, his parents, Joseph Leo and Willie Mae Reed Jury; and one sister, Barbara Ann Jury Barnes.

William Clark Taken By Death

William L. Clark, 76, farmer of the area for many years, died Friday evening at his home on Route 1.   He was born in New York, Iowa, February 18, 1876.

A member of the Christian Church, he also belonged to Trinity Lodge of Odd Fellows.

Survivors include a son, Orville Clark of Milton; a duaghter, Mrs. Alma Barnes of Battle Ground, Wash.; a grandson, Alvin Beller of Los Angeles; a half-sister, Mrs. Alice Burton of Corydon, Iowa; and a cousin, Ed Rockey of Walla Walla.

FRANK AYDE DIES AT 79

Frank Ayde of 523 Park St., a retired farmer, died Monday at a local hospital.   He was 79.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Marshall-Herring chapel with the Rev. Michael Gallucci officiating.   Private interment with ritualistic graveside services by BPOE No. 287 will follow in Mt. View Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Marshall-Herring chapel.

Ayde was born March 15, 1888 at Blue Creek near Walla Walla, the son of Patrick and Florence Ayde.   He attended Coyote School and Christian Brothers School here.

In 1909 he wed Ina Demaris, May 13, at Walla Walla; the couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in 1959.

Most of Ayde's life was spent farming in the Prescott area until his retirement several years ago.

Ayde was a member of St. Patrict (sic) Catholic Church and a life member of BPOE No. 287.

Besides his wife, at the home, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Jimmie) Derrick and Mrs. J. B. (Jackie) Mock, both of Walla Walla; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
