Gustaf Adolf Carlberg, born 15 Nov 1858 in Elfvehult, Döderhult, Kalmar län (Småland), Sweden; is deceased. Notes for Gustaf Adolf Carlberg: Message board by B Justin Meierkord of Lacon, Marshall County, IL on 06 jan 2004 states: Some time ago, I provided a short list of emigrants from Doderhult that were members of First Lutheran Church in Varna, Illinois, USA. I have now completed all of the emigrants into my database. However, I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to cross-check the names and birth dates I have provided with the names provided in Doderhult records. You can see that there were quite a few people who moved to Varna, Illinois. If someone could give me the correct names, birth dates, and parentage of these individuals, it would be greatly appreciated. - Two of the names on the list are Carlberg, Carl Oscar January 22, 1852, and Carlberg, Gustaf Adolf November 15, 1858. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ancestry.com.
