This site outlines our information on Joan's father's family.  Surnames include RODERICK, RIBEIRO, and LAWRENCE who emigrated from Isle of Flores, Azores in the 1880's and settled in Massachusetts; and also surnames MCGINNISS, ROACH, ROSE, WILLIAMS, NORRIS, AND AHERN who emigrated for Ireland in the 1840's and 1850's.
